Electrocardiogram (ECG) TECHNICIAN PROGRAM

 

The College of Nursing, in cooperation with the Health Academy of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, offers an ECG technician program, which qualifies graduates to work on a variety of tasks related to performing and processing electrocardiograms, and to initially review the ECG to detect any potential defect in patients’ health. They also contribute to analyzing and exploring health disorders and follow safe laboratory practices.

Duration: one academic year

Studying hours: morning/evening

Program language: English

 

The admission requirements:

  • English language test
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in the field specified when announced by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties

Disaster Management Officer Program

The College of Nursing, in cooperation with the Health Academy of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, offers the Disaster Management Officer Program, which qualifies graduates to work on mitigating risks by developing plans to confront disaster situations, quickly responding to emergency situations, receiving reports on an ongoing basis, containing the disaster during its occurrence, and following up on post-disaster procedures.

Patient Care Technician 

 

The role of the patient care technician is to assist the nurse practitioner in providing care to the individual in both the clinic and the hospital setting. This entails providing effective and competent patient care while working with nurse practitioners and other team members to achieve optimal health care outcomes for those who need care.
