Based on the keenness of the College of Engineering - Taif University to integrate the scientific and applied concept, improve and develop the learning outcomes of engineering courses, and in light of international standards for academic accreditation, the College of Engineering held a lecture on Wednesday, 16 Ramadan 1442 AH, to discuss students of the Master of Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering program in the college through the seasons. The hypothetical evaluation of the research projects submitted by students studying in the course is to manage the risks of renewable energy projects under the supervision of the subject professor, Dr. Bandar Samman, and the executive supervisor of the program, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Elwy Balabel, with the participation of Eng. Naif Al-Nakhli from the Saudi Energy Purchase Company and Professor Walaa Al-Ammari from NEOM Company, as external evaluators specialized in managing renewable and sustainable energy projects from outside the university. The discussion included a review of the presented research projects that focused on managing the risks of various renewable energy projects, including, for example, solar cell towers projects, wind energy, wave energy and geothermal projects. The discussion and evaluation committee praised the outputs of the research projects submitted by the students studying the program and the methods of analysis, presentation and distinguished presentation. His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Aziz Al-Ahmadi, Dean of the College of Engineering, expressed the college's thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the internal and external evaluation committee, adding that the external evaluation of the engineering learning outcomes aims to develop engineering educational programs, enrich the university students' experience, and raise the skills level of graduates of the College of Engineering - Taif University.
