In the presence and generous patronage of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Youssef bin Abdo Asiri, and in the presence of His Excellency the Director of Drug Control in Taif Governorate, Taif University held an exhibition and symposium entitled “Drugs and their effects on the individual and society and ways to prevent them.”
His Excellency the Vice President of Taif University, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qarni and His Excellency the Vice President for the Academic Affairs and Development, Prof. Faisal Al-Maliki awarded the participants in this symposium, including His Excellency Dr. Yousef bin Saeed Al-Thubaiti, Head of the Department of Medicines and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy, Taif University, where His Excellency presented a valuable lecture entitled "Addiction to narcotic drugs and Psychotropic Substances: Its Causes, Effects and Characteristics".
