Prof. Sayed Fekry Abdelwahab, Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at College of Pharmacy Taif University, has been recently elected as a member of the executive council of the World Society for Virology (WSV). Prof. Abdelwahab holds the position of the “secretary elect” of four-year term, staring on March 1st, 2022. The WSV was established in 2017 to link different virologists worldwide in an official society with no restriction based on income or physical location.
