Taif University Organizes Exhibition and Symposium of Selective Courses

Taif University has organized the Exhibition and Symposium of the general selective courses at the General Requirements Center of the Deanship of Supportive Studies.

The exhibition and symposium was inaugurated under the supervision of His Excellency, the Vice President of Academic and Development Affairs, Professor AbdulRahman AlAsmari. Thirty projects were displayed representing six selective courses: Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Digital Citizenship, Health Education, Programming for non-specialists, Media and Society, Volunteering and social responsibility.

Students participating in the exhibition presented a summary of their projects to visitors. The context of TUGA projects focused on reinforcing quality-learning outcomes that are aligned with the labor market in the light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in a  scientific approach; reinforcing students' personality and knowledge. This would distinguish Taif University students with a set of professional and future life skills

The project mainly aims to upgrade the academic content through integrating the 21st century skills with the university courses, and presenting them in a learning environment that enhances distinction and innovation. This will ultimately meet the society needs and contributes to excellence in various specialties.

At the conclusion of the exhibition and symposium, the first three winning projects were honored in each course.

The exhibition and symposium were attended by the Acting Vice President, Professor Turki AlMansoori, and the Vice President of the female branch, Dr Eman AlZahrani, and the Deans of Faculties as well as the Deans of Supportive Deanships.
