Introductory Workshop for the High Altitude Research Center
Date : 2018-11-15 Time : 11:00:00Under the guidance of Taif University President Dr. Hossam Zaman, under the supervision of the Deanship of Scientific Research and under the patronage of His Excellence Dean Dr. Khaled Alsawat, The High Altitude Research Center organized the first workshop with the title "Introductory Workshop for the High Altitude Research Center"inthe auditorium of the Center at the medical campus at 11am.
The workshop started with a speech by His Excellency the Vice Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. WalaaAlsanie, on behalf of His Excellency the Dean, in which he welcomed the ladies and gentlemen who participated in the workshop. Then, DrAlsanie expressed his happiness for the good organization and preparation for the workshop by the supervisors and wishing all a successful workshop. The workshop was left then to the Director of the Center, Dr. Alaa Abdulrahman Shafie.
The Director of the Center welcomed the attendees and gave an explanatory presentation of the vision, goals and values of the Center. He also explained the administrative structure of the Center and the axes of the future plan for the Center's work.Then, the discussion was opened for the 25 participants who represent various faculties of the university.
This discussion has had a great impact to come out with clear recommendations that helped clarify the strategic vision of the work of the Center to take the lead of the research specialized in the high altitude, as it is the only specialized center in the Middle East focusing in high altitude research. Finally, the workshop ended at 1pm
