'Green Homeland' Event
date of publication : 2023-11-09On Sunday,21/4/1445H, at11:00 a.m. at Trubah University College, in room 1111, the female section, represented by the Student Activity Unit, "Creativity Club", organized an event entitled "A Green Homeland", which was supervised, implemented, and participated in by the head, female staff, and students of the Biology Department. Students participated in the event in the presence of the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Fawzia Manahi Al-Baqmi, and staff from various departments.
The event aims to raise awareness of the benefits of vegetation in reducing carbon emissions and protecting the environment, and to increase awareness of the importance of afforestation. Additionally, the students showcased various kinds of trees and flowers and how to grow them. The event came to an end with landscaping the outdoor parking lots and planting the internal entrances to Trubah University College with a group of flowers and shade plants.
