1. Provide globally competitive postgraduate programs to meet strategic needs of KSA.
2. Develop strategic partnership with local and global academic institutions.
3. Enable related institutions to benefit from postgraduate programs and scientific research outcomes .
4. Enhance research infrastructure to promote scientific research at the University.
5. Continuous improvement in performance, at all sectors of Vice Presidency for Graduate      Studies and Scientific Research (VPGSSR), administratively and academically.
6. To follow the scientific methods in establishing and wording the future strategies of VPGSSR sectors, in relation to the strategic vision of TU .
7. Reinforcing scholarship programs to meet the need of academic departments .
8. Promote and encourage scientific publishing in world-class journals .
