We are pleased to welcome you to the website of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, College of Science, Taif University, and we hope that it will get your admiration and provide the desired benefit to you.
The department of Mathematics was established in 1424 H as one of the oldest departments at the university. The department offers one academic program for the bachelor’s level and three academic programs for the master’s level, which are the Master of Science program in pure mathematics, the Master of Science program in applied mathematics, and the Master of Science program in mathematical statistics. The department also teaches and scientifically supervises mathematics and statistics courses taught in the departments of the College of Science, departments of the College of Computer Sciences and Information Technology, and departments of the College of Engineering and College of Medical Sciences.
Our belief in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics is the importance of mathematics and Statistics and play a major role in scientific and technical development, as well as the community services, and in light of the amazing developments that the Saudi Kingdom is witnessing in various fields in accordance with Vision 2030, we are aware of the important role assigned to our department in continuing to raise the academic level and its outcomes to reflect Positive impact on our loved country.
In conclusion, we hope that this site will be a bright interface to highlight the scientific and research development, as well as the community service of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, which could not have been achieved except by the grace of Allah and the presence of an elite group of qualified faculty members and under the guidance of our successful leaders in the College of Science and the University.
