The University's Office for Academic Affairs and Development aims to raise the level of academic performance and develop it, and improve the university's outputs. In order to achieve the University's vision of the academic transformation and the specific initiatives that emerged from it, it was urgent to establish a measurement and evaluation administration to evaluate the different aspects of the academic work and to conduct studies related to this field. In addition, to supervising the conduct of university tests and analyzing of the results and raise awareness of faculty members on the latest measurement process calendar.

Measurement and Evaluation administration was established at the University on the basis of the decision of the president of Taif University (No. 22454) dated 16/3/1439 H. It is directly related to the university's academic affairs and development office. It is responsible for evaluating the academic performance of the university and includes two units, which are the unit of tests and measurement, and the Academic Evaluation Unit.
