Taif University announces the graduation of the first batch of the students of the "Higher Diploma" in Education:
Taif University announced on Wednesday that the first batch of students enrolled in the Higher Diploma in Education has graduated and they can obtain a certified copy of their certificates from the university website.
The announcement of the graduation of Taif University first batch of Higher Diploma came after the approval of the Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed Al-Issa of the recommendation of Taif University Council to convert the name of the General Diploma in Education to Higher Diploma in education.
The Rector of Taif University congratulated the graduates for their graduation, as well as on the occasion of the conversion of their diplomas to the Higher Diploma in Education as the first batch of graduates to receive this diploma.
Taif University Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Development Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Asmari said that Taif University has implemented the program transformation project for all its programs, including the program of general diploma in education, where the program was modified to focus on the basic skills needed by teachers and extending the duration of study time to three semesters.
He added that the university is keen to ensure that the educational diploma is of an applied nature by linking its contents with teaching and learning strategies and classroom management processes, and providing the students with practical research skills and improving the positive attitudes toward the teaching profession to ensure the effectiveness of the teacher of the future, so as to improve the profession of education.
Dr. Al-Asmari said that the development of the educational diploma program came in cooperation with the UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education, in the light of Taif University initiatives to develop its academic programs through the program transformation project, which complies with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and its requirements.
The Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Wasselallah Abdullah Al-Sowat, explained that the Deanship of Admission and Registration has completed the graduation of students this evening.
