Environmental factors affecting human health
Date : 2025-02-16 Time : 17:00:00Taif University, represented by the College of Science and the Student Activities Unit, with the participation of most of the scientific clubs in the college departments, held an awareness exhibition entitled Environmental Factors Affecting Human Health as part of its extracurricular activities, which aims to shed light on the most prominent health topics and environmental challenges and their direct impact on human health. This event comes within the framework of the university's keenness to serve the community and enhance social responsibility by spreading health and scientific awareness among members of society.
The exhibition includes thirteen specialized scientific corners entitled:
Genetically modified foods.
Deadly viruses that threaten human life.
The importance of extracting active substances from plants in designing pharmaceutical doses.
The effect of detergents on human health.
The role of microbes on human health.
How to deal with biological hazards.
Plant a tree that loves health
Towards a clean, sustainable environment
The relationship between mathematics, sustainable environmental science and renewable energy.
The risks and benefits of beekeeping on human health
Types of birds in the Taif environment.
Radiation and heavy elements in children's foods.
Mathematics in the face of biological risks "The language of solutions and predictions" The exhibition was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Sharif, the Vice Deans and Heads of the College's departments, a large number of faculty members and students of the College, in addition to a large number of visitors.
