Alumni Unit
The Alumni Unit is one of the main units in the College of Science, as it seeks to enhance communication between the college and its graduates, and provide them with the necessary support to enable them to achieve success in their professional and academic careers. The unit's tasks include:
1. Communicating with graduates: Creating a database for graduates and updating it periodically, and communicating with them to follow up on their professional and academic achievements.
2. Preparing students for the labor market: Organizing workshops and training courses to develop the skills of students and graduates in line with the needs of the labor market.
3. Coordinating with employers: Cooperating with public and private sector institutions to provide training and employment opportunities for graduates.
4. Monitoring the professional performance of graduates: Conducting periodic studies to survey the opinions of graduates and employers about the quality of the department's educational outputs and their compatibility with market needs.
5. Promoting belonging and communication: Organizing events and meetings that bring together graduates and faculty members, in addition to hosting distinguished graduates to transfer their experiences to students.
6. Supporting postgraduate studies: Guiding graduates who wish to complete their postgraduate studies inside or outside the university and providing them with academic advice.
The unit seeks to build sustainable bridges between the college and its graduates, contributing to the university's vision of graduating qualified personnel capable of contributing to community development.
