The Faculty of Arts Participates in Cultural Events at Al-Khurma and Ranyah

Dr. Al-Sobaie also presented on Monday a lecture entitled "A Study in National History" at the University College in Ranyah, where he discussed the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since the unification of the country by King Abdul Aziz and his historic role in the unification of the country and the stages of development in the Kingdom.
Dr. Ali Al-Enezi, Chair of the Department of Media and Communication Sciences, held a workshop on "Building the mental image" at the University College in Al-Khurma yesterday, attended by a number of media persons in the governorate. He addressed the importance of building and improving the mental image for individuals and institutions (both public and private).
Dr. Al-Enezi stressed the vital role of media in shaping the mental image and the importance of selecting news and formulating media content in both traditional media and new media with its forms.
Dr. Al-Enezi also held a press editing workshop today at the University College in Ranyah where he discussed the types of journalistic arts, the methods of drafting and editing them, and the importance of assigning the media content to reliable sources.
In the same context, Dr. Nayef Al-Buraq, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, confirmed that the Faculty's participation in the scientific activities held at the University College in Al-Khurma and Ranyah happen within the framework of its social service in the region and within the policy of integration between the faculties of the University, as emphasized by his Excellency, Dr. Husam Zaman, President of the University. The Faculty always seeks to provide scientific and advisory services in the framework of its specialties to the community of the Taif province, as per the University's initiative (#Taif_New).
Dr. Al-Buraq concluded by thanking the President of Taif University, Dr. Zaman, who provided all means of support and guidance for the activities; with his keenness to see the activities of the Faculties and guidance to develop them.
