Dr. Ammar Saleh Al-Shamrani, Associate Professor and Consultant of Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry, Dean Faculty of Dentistry, he obtained a Bachelor of Dental Science and Surgery from the College of Dentistry - King Saud University in 2000, a Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry 2004 and a Saudi Board Certificate in Advanced Restorative Dentistry in 2006, He also obtained a Fellowship in Esthetic Dentistry in 2010 from New York University, USA. After that, he obtained a Master’s degree of Medical Education from Taif University in cooperation with the University of Illinois Chicago in 2019.
He worked as a consultant and Co Chairman of Dental Department of the armed forces hospital from 2001 until 2011, after which he moved to Taif University and participated in the establishment of the College of Dentistry and Founder of University Dental Hospital. He returned again to the deanship of Faculty of Dentistry and director of the University Dental Hospital from 2023 until now.
His Excellency holds membership in many different scientific societies, such as the International Society for Dental Research and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, and he chaired and participated in many higher committees at the university and college, participating in the council of some non-profit health societies in Taif. He has many researches published in scientific journals
