Dr. Shaima Muhammad Al-Orabi Al-Harthy, Assistant Professor and Consultant of Periodontology and Surgery, Vice Dean of the College of Dentistry for Clinical Affairs and Assistant Director of the University Dental Hospital. Her Excellency obtained a Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Surgery from the College of Dentistry - King Abdulaziz University in 2011, and a fellowship and Master’s degree from the University of Texas, Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, USA, in the Specialty of Periodontal Diseases and Surgery in 2018. She also obtained the American Board Periodontology and dental implants. She worked as a supervisor of the Professional Development Department at the Deanship of Community Service and Sustainable Development and as a member of the Executive Office for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation. Her Excellency obtained many certificates, including the Leadership Development Program from AdvanceHE, UK, and the Fellowship in Higher Education from AdvanceHE, UK. Her Excellency holds membership in many different scientific societies, such as the American Society of Periodontology and the Saudi Dental Association. Her Excellency received many awards during her studies, including the Robert Shore Research Award from the American Society of Periodontology 2018, and her Excellency many researches published in international journals in the field of periodontal diseases and surgery
